Hi, I’m Shukri Abi, an experienced audiologist in Melbourne with over 19 years in hearing healthcare.
I don’t just treat hearing loss. I help people restore confidence, clarity, and connection through evidence-based, ethical care.
My journey began as a 12-year-old refugee arriving in New Zealand. That experience shaped my resilience, work ethic, and belief that healthcare should always be grounded in dignity, trust, and service.

My journey began in the clinic, working closely with individuals and families whose lives were shaped by their ability to hear, communicate, and connect. Over time, those frontline experiences revealed both the power and the gaps within hearing healthcare. What started as a clinical calling evolved into a broader mission—to reimagine how hearing health is delivered, accessed, and experienced. Today, my work bridges clinical practice, entrepreneurship, and advocacy, focused on building ethical, human-centered solutions that honor dignity, expand access, and create lasting impact.
